You’ve GOT to check this out: General Cable Interactive Catalog

If you’re like me, that is born before Al Gore invented the Internet. . . well, I get frustrated by websites that are . . . shall we say less than user friendly? Especially when I’m looking for product information and I need it FAST!

Well, from now on General Cable will be added to MY list of “Favorites”, that’s for sure. Check out their new interactive catalogs. Includes advanced search capabilities that will highlight every instance of the appearance of a part number or keyword. A click of the mouse turns the page, just like your Nook or Kindle (which I also don’t have yet-I still read books the old fashioned way – on audio CD!) One click at the top of the page takes you straight to the Table of Contents.

General has 16 interactive catalogs live on their website, from Telecom, Datacom, Fiber and Electronics all the way to Nuclear, Mining and Utility. And the best part is you don’t have to have all these print catalogs cluttering up your workspace. AND it saves another tree.

Check it out on General Cable’s website generalcable.com. Just click on Catalogs. Or, click here now for a preview, as given by our General Cable Wire Wizard…

Teri, you are absolutely correct, General Cable’s new Interactive Catalog tool is incredibly easy to use. You can very quickly save a page or multiple pages as a PDF and e-mail it, print exactly what you’re looking for, or save a part of a page as a jpeg.
